Michelle Opacic
Registered Psychologist
Michelle has been working as a psychologist for over 20 years with experience in both private and public settings.
After finishing her 4 year psychology degree she started her supervision registration program working in community adult mental health. Michelle took her passion for mental health to her next role working in early intervention mental health with young people with first episode depression and psychosis.
Michelle then completed her clinical masters degree in psychology, and worked in a private hospital and also first started working in a private practice setting. Over the years Michelle’s experience has seen her working in forensic u it’s, child and family teams, and as an EAP provider. Michelle has worked in private practice for over 10 years now, with a passion for relationships and intimacy, adolescents, and trauma. Most recently Michelle has worked in the NDIS setting where she has worked with clients with multiple and often complex disabilities.
Michelle’s greatest strength is her relationship with her clients and her capacity for collaboratively identifying and working on the clients presenting concerns. Highly valuing the persons capacity for personal change Michelle is committed to seeing her clients to reach their therapeutic goals.
